The Enemy Within: Straight Talk About the Power and Defeat of Sin

Ok, a blog. I've never wrote a blog before; but, I'm willing to give it a shot.

So, I'm currently at Tennessee Technological University.  Things are going well...my GPA is good and I'm handling my current classes with the greatest of ease.  However, my heart is not here.  You see, during spring break, Kyle Miller, Aaron Tiner, and I all visited Boyce.  The visit was primarily for Kyle and Aaron because they were both considering going there, Kyle for counseling and Aaron for Youth Ministries.  I had no intentions of even considering attending Boyce before the trip.  However, while at Boyce I felt very comfortable.  While Kyle and Aaron where in a class with my sister, I went to the Library and looked around, skimming through the occasional book.  After that, we met up with Kyle and Cole Robertson who showed us around and entertained us.  We then returned to Marshall and MC's apartment where we slept.

The whole experience was wonderful.  I was able to visit with my sister and brother-in-law while enjoying the christian companionship of my friends.  Add to that, Kyle and Cole's hospitality and I cannot argue that God's glory was on display to me the whole trip.  When I got back to Tennessee I began to pray diligently about the possibility of going to Boyce and I'm still in that process.  One of my major concerns is that I don't know what I intend to study.  All I know is that God has led me in the direction of Boyce.  If anyone stumbles across this blog, please pray for me and my decision.

Lord, make your mind and perfect will known to me so that I can make the correct decision.  Also, help me to ensure that you receive ALL of the glory in whatever I do. Amen.
